Turim at the 3rd MFO International Forum

Last week, Boston hosted the 3rd edition of the MFO International Forum, bringing together leaders from the wealth management industry to discuss market trends, global strategies, and innovations in macroeconomics and financial planning.

Our Co-CEO, Ana Carolina Carvalho, attended the forum, engaging in discussions and interactions that reinforced Turim’s international presence and broadened the dialogue with leading institutions. Ricardo Guimaraes, CEO of Tori, part of the Turim Group, was also present.

The agenda included lectures and immersive sessions at academic and innovation centers, such as the Harvard Management Company, with Rick Slocum (CIO of the Harvard Endowment), and the Boston Consulting Group, during a lunch on wealth management trends. There were also sessions with Pathstone, addressing the future of RIAs and inorganic growth strategies, in addition to entrepreneurial leadership modules at Babson College.

At the MIT Media Lab, participants explored research in urban science, fluid interfaces, and emerging technologies. For Carol, the visit was marked by a special memory:
“What a nostalgic moment to return to MIT, especially the Media Lab, where, some years ago, we worked together on developing Turim’s Risk Profiling process, in partnership with professors and students over the course of a year.”

Beyond the technical content, the program also offered cultural and sporting experiences, such as a Boston Red Sox game at Fenway Park and the NFL season opening at Gillette Stadium.
